    Growth Habit:Bunch-type, panicle inflorescense (5-24 inches in length). Leaves are 14-30 inches long and up to 1.4 inches wide. Hairy ligule.
    Life Cycle:Perennial. Highest seed yield about 12-14 days from flower emergence.

    Production Season:April to October (South Florida)
    Nutritive Value:Varies depending on management and variety. High nutritive value. Usually, medium crude protein, medium to high digestibility.

    Adaptation

    Soil:Sand to clay. Well drained.
