Grading

You are required to bring your picture ID in order to take an exam. Failure to do so will result in your missing the exam, and you will receive a zero (0) for that exam unless a legitimate excuse is provided. If deemed legitimate, then the next exam will be counted as double to make up for the missing exam. This can occur only once. Any more missed exams will be given an automatic grade of zero (0).

Grades will be determined based on the following:

50-minute exams: 3 x 20% = 60%; Participation = 10% (Problem Solving Sessions); Cumulative Final Exam = 30%

Letter grades will be determined as follows:

A   = 90.00 and above
B+ = 85.00 - 89.99
B   = 80.00 - 84.99
C+ = 75.00 - 79.99
C   = 70.00 - 74.99
D+ = 65.00 - 69.99
D   = 60.00 - 64.99
E   = 59.99 and below
