Vehicle Reservations:
Agronomy has 3 departmental vans. Below is the information regarding keys, location and special policies for each. Reservations should be made if you plan to use ANY of these vans. In order to reserve a van, you can either contact the Agronomy office or use the reservation calendars that are hyperlinked below. If you choose to make the reservation using the Outlook calendar option, please include the name of the person who will be using the van, a contact phone number, and the purpose (ex. John Doe, 352-555-5555, check on field plots in Citra).
The primary office contact for reservations is Joan Glisson (joanmglisson@ufl.edu or 294-1584). If she is unavailable, any of the other staff can assist.
Please note that regardless of which van you use, these basic policies apply:
- Vehicle log should be completed for each trip
- Gas tank should be returned FULL (fuel cost is the responsibility of the van user or their faculty supervisor if the user is not a faculty member).
- For long distance or out of state trips, please obtain approval through the main Agronomy office to use a departmental van. These instances will be looked at on a case-by-case basis, and you may be required to rent a van instead.
- Please note any issues that you observe that may indicate that the van needs maintenance. Contact Kim Lottinville (agrap@ufl.edu or 352-294-1587) with this information.
- Keep the vans clean by removing any trash and taking it to a car wash if needed (the department will cover the car wash cost).
- Information is kept in the glove compartment regarding what to do in case of an accident. If this information is missing, please contact Paula Cunningham (352-294-1588) or Theresa Martin (352-294-1590).
