Research Focus
Study of photosynthesis, respiration, carbon and nitrogen metabolism, and growth of crop plants in response to climate, carbon dioxide enrichment, drought, defoliating pests, and diseases. Develop crop growth models to understand crop physiology, to evaluate crop and pest management strategies, and to evaluate physiological traits for genetic yield improvement.
