Research Focus
Research objective is to understand the genetic control of basic metabolic and developmental processes relating to unloading and utilization (partitioning) of sucrose in maize and sorghum. Molecular cloning and characterization of such genes is aimed to better manipulate such sequences towards increased agricultural productivity.
