Research Focus

Weed management in agronomic crops, pasture and rangeland.  Weed biology and ecology studies, new weed control technologies, extension recommendations and new herbicide screening.  Invasive and exotic weed species, management, control systems as well as eradication.

Responsibilities of Unit Director

Provide leadership for the overall planning and development of a comprehensive, interdisciplinary 1,100 acre unit for various researchers.  Duties include, but are not limited to management of budgetary, personnel, heavy equipment program, federal excess property program and overall management of ongoing research projects.
