Help Request Procedure

In an effort to streamline Jimmy’s workflow for better efficiency while still providing the services needed, a new IT help request procedure is being implemented.

Effective immediately, help requests should be submitted via the web form here: http://bit.ly/aQehpC.  If you have a true emergency (ex. computer crash, virus alert, etc.), then you may contact Jimmy directly by phone (352) 392-1811 x214 or e-mail jski@ufl.edu.

Please note that each help request must be submitted via a separate request ticket.  Please do not send an entire list of requests in one help ticket.  Before sending a request, please check the department’s IT documentation to determine if your issue can be addressed through those means.  This documentation can be found at http://agronomy.ifas.ufl.edu/it-documentation/.  This navigation is also provided on the ticket request page.

Jimmy will review these requests daily, and will notify you of a time when you can expect action and/or resolution to your issue.
