UF has implemented a request system for all IT problems to help track issues and completions. This system allows the tracking of all submitted problems and makes sure that tickets are followed up and completed or forwarded if the problem is beyond the IT person’s spectrum.
Locate the MyIT icon on your desktop. It is a green, round icon that has your computer ID as it’s name. Double-clicking this icon will take you to the UF IT Request page.
Fill out the fields with your information. After you are done, click Submit and the request will be filtered to your department IT person. Depending on their workflow, your request will be handled within a day or two. Your IT person should at least contact you in regards to your request.
